Deira City Centre bus station is a short walk further, where the E307 leaves for Sharjah. Al Khabaisi Park is 350 m and the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club 1.6 km. It suits a long layover, an early flight the next morning, or a day in the mall with the bags already put away.
